Online Fundraising

PCYC NSW is hosting a private Raw Challenge obstacle course on Saturday March 9, 2019.

All funds will go towards the club that you support to help fund our FIT FOR LIFE program.

Fit For Life is an early intervention program designed to engage youth who are at risk of poor choices and anti-social behaviour. Through physical fitness, nutrition and social engagement, Fit For Life aims to improve overall wellbeing as well as prevent and divert youth from offending behaviours.

Part of the Commissioner’s Rise Up Strategy, Fit For Life is aimed at youth aged 10-17 years old and is inclusive of a morning fitness session, a healthy breakfast, transport to school and a rewards scheme. Fit For Life is a pathway with the potential to lead participants into more structured programs such as Fit For Work and Blue Star leadership programs.

If you are competitive or want a fun family day, we have the perfect challenge for you.

PCYC Raw Challenge - Information

Mud obstacle course for all levels - Challenge yourself or challenge your mates to the 2019 Raw Challenge obstacle course. This course has more than 40+ obstacles for non-stop action across the entire 6km circuit. Run, jog or walk at your own pace, it doesn't matter how or when you cross the finish line. The course will take 60-90 minutes to compete. Embrace teamwork and bring along your family and friends. While the Raw Challenge will bring out your competitive side, the key to success is teamwork, so don’t forget to pack your community spirit and help your friends over a hurdle or two.

First wave: competitive wave (ages 12+) – this wave is designed for the brave hearted. Race solo or with a team and be the first one to cross the finish line.

Second wave: social wave (with kids aged 7-12) – ideal for families, PCYC activity groups and sports teams, this wave is all about forming your dream team. Children aged 7 to 12 years must run with an adult with this group.

Support a PCYC Club

A contribution from each ticket sale will support a PCYC club of your choice. Aren’t a member of a local PCYC? That’s okay – choose any PCYC club in NSW to show your support. The more people that register the more each PCYC club can earn, contributing to programs and activities.

Tips for day

Tape your shoes so you don’t lose them in the mud. Bring a spare change of clothes as you will get wet and muddy. Cold showers are available to wash off the mud.
